I use a high-reach water-fed pole system with purified water heated to around 65°C to clean glass, frames, sills and doors. The heated purified water breaks down dirt, algae, spider marks and other organic buildup more effectively and then dries naturally to a streak-free finish once the glass dries.

The water I use goes through a two-stage purification process: reverse osmosis followed by de-ionisation resin. This removes minerals and dissolved solids and leaves ultra-pure water. Heating it to around 65°C helps soften and lift grime, algae, bird mess and spider webs more quickly, prevents spotting and streaking, and lets the windows dry very quickly. On most cleans, the windows are dry with little or no beading within about 10 minutes.
